Lori Vandenbrink, Director of Sales and Marketing
Lori Vandenbrink joined Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat in early 2005 as the Director of Sales and Marketing. She formerly worked at Stevens Pass Ski Area, first as the Guest Relations Manager and then as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Her career includes over 15 years of customer service experience and 12 years of sales and marketing experience, 5 of which were in the resort arena.
Prior to joining Sleeping Lady, Lori had visited the property frequently. First in May 2002 for an overnight planning meeting and then for a family dinner in the Kingfisher Dining Lodge in September of the same year. She visited her favorite area café, the Pantry most frequently, joining family and friends. "When I heard about the opportunity it only seemed natural," stated Lori. "I absolutely love the grounds of Sleeping Lady and both visits, as a conference guest and as a leisure guest exceeded my expectations. In addition, I am impressed by Sleeping Lady's commitment to the environment and reverence for recreation, arts and music. "
A native of Washington State, Lori grew up in the Yakima Valley, attended Western Washington University, settled on Whidbey Island for a short time before returning home to warm and sunny Eastern Washington. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast spending her free time skiing in the winter and kayaking, biking, backpacking and gardening in the spring, summer and fall with her husband Patrick, son Tobin and extended family.
