Fitness/Relaxation
Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat offers conference guests a variety of gathering places for informal and recreational socializing.

Fire Circles are open campfires under star-lit skies, which are evocative gathering places for groups large and small. The Council Fire Ring is smaller, seating up to 25. The Kingfisher Circle is located next to the Kingfisher Dining lodge. Our fire circles are popular for counsel of elders, story-telling, star-gazing, sing-a-longs, marshmallow roasts, and ceremonies of all kinds.

The Library is a resource for all Sleeping Lady guests, a place to find or read a good book, put their feet up and relax. For guest convenience, a computer with high-speed Internet access and printer are available for use.

The Sauna is open 24 hours a day with sauna, cold plunge pool and massage room (Massage should be scheduled 24 hours in advance).

The Woodland Rock Pool is a boulder-lined swimming pool open seasonally that is the perfect place to cool off. Its companion hot pool is available year 'round. Swimsuits required.

Grasshopper Fitness Sleeping Lady's fitness room is located next to the sauna building. Equipment includes a treadmill, an elliptical cross-trainer, a recumbent bicycle, weights, stretch trainers, showers and restrooms. Grasshopper is open 24 hours a day and is accessible with your room key.

Volleyball, Horseshoes, and Badminton areas are located near the organic garden entrance. Equipment is available at the front desk.

"It was such a pleasant change to have conference rooms, not only with windows, but with windows that open. Getting fresh air into our meeting space kept everyone energized, making it possible for us to be very productive."
