Date Availability
While we welcome your inquiry for any date, our prime availability for weddings includes holiday weekends and select dates throughout the winter months. On some of these weekends, a two-night/exclusive-use minimum will apply.
Facilities
Sleeping Lady's Chapel Theater and adjacent Salmon Gallery is the premier venue for your ceremony and reception. Encompassing 5,000 square feet on two levels, this space includes a 150 seat ceremony venue with seperate dressing rooms for bride's party and groom's party. A dramatic granite staircase leads to the Salmon Gallery level, where 150 people can be accommodated for a stand up reception with scattered cocktail seating. The rental fee for this space is currently $2,000 per event (typically encompassing 5 hours, excluding set up and teardown). We can also provide smaller facilties for more intimate groups.
The Kingfisher Meadow and Stage are located at the base of Icicle Canyon on Icicle Creek. The Meadow's grassy area, with a view to the Sleeping Lady mountain profile, is ideal for outdoor ceremonies and has a spiritual quality that reflects the legacy of the people who came before. Kingfisher's outdoor barbecue circle, in this same area, provides the perfect setting for a relaxed rehearsal dinner. The multi-level Kingfisher Terrace, constructed of granite from the Icicle Canyon, is the venue of choice for a post-ceremony champagne toast and cocktail reception.
Your photographer will find endless opportunities for unforgettable wedding pictures throughout Sleeping Lady's 67 acres. Of special interest will be Dale Chihuly's first permanent outdoor installation - the Icicle Creek Chandelier - and the rocky outcropping at the edge of Icicle Creek with the Sleeping Lady mountain profile as the background.
