Our Commitment to you during COVID-19
As we welcome you back to the resort your safety and wellbeing, as well as that of our team members and small mountain town are our #1 priority. Through scouring recommended guidelines from our local Chelan-Douglas Health District, WA State Health District, the CDC, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association we have refined our cleaning and safety guidelines. We will continue to fine tune them as new information is presented. Rest assured; we care!
First and foremost, your safety and wellbeing start with our team members. At all times, our team member will be following CDC guidelines.
Starting with our public spaces and high-traffic areas, we are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency, dedicated team members, and recommended cleaning agents.
Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at the entrances to Guest Services, Kingfisher Restaurant, O’Grady’s Pantry & Mercantile in our common spaces, meeting venues and in employee areas.
The Sleeping Lady grounds naturally make social distancing easy. There are no hallways or elevators. Instead you will walk along walking paths, in the fresh mountain air to your guest room’s private outdoor entrance. Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. We will be adding partitions in our lobby, Kingfisher Restaurant host station, O’Grady’s Pantry and Aspen Leaf Day Spa counters to provide an extra level of precaution for our guests and our team members.
In guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with recommended disinfectants. All linens will continue to be washed daily. High touch areas, including but not limited to doorknobs, faucets and cupboard handles will be sanitized.
New Cleaning Technologies
We are making investments in enhanced technologies including electrostatic sprayers to sanitize surfaces throughout the resort, including but not limited to guest rooms, meeting venues and common areas. They have been ordered and will be put to use as soon as they arrive.
We are changing the service-style in Kingfisher Restaurant from our traditional buffet-style to a combination of family-style and plated. We are also reducing the number of guests served each evening to accommodate for the recommended social distancing.
If you have any questions or concerns about these guidelines, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, with safety in subject line.
Sleeping Lady Cares is an initiative we launched many years ago to take care of our community through monetary and in-kind donations, and volunteer hours. We are now adding our revised guidelines to this initiative.
