Resort Amenities

Imagine if every time you spend the night at Sleeping Lady Resort, dine in one of our gourmet restaurants, relax at the spa or have a drink at the bar, it supported a good cause. Now, it’s not just a dream, it’s a reality.

Effective January 1, 2019, our beloved owner, Harriet Bullitt transferred her ownership of the Sleeping Lady business to Icicle Fund. This means that every time you spend money at Sleeping Lady, you are supporting the Icicle Fund. Which, in turn, ensures the Icicle Fund can help even more local non-profits in providing wildfire preparedness, arts for kids and adults, hiking trails, open spaces and many other community benefits that enhance the quality of life right here where you love to visit.

Icicle Fund is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that was founded by Harriet to enhance the health and quality of all life in North Central Washington by engaging people with arts, history and the natural environment. Organizations supported by the fund include Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, Methow Arts Alliance, The Nature Conservancy, The Trust for Public Land, Wenatchee River Institute, and over 100 other nonprofit organizations in North Central Washington.

The resort will continue to operate under the same management team and staff you’ve come to love. Kevin, and his teammates in Guest Services will provide their usual warm welcome and smooth check in to your clean, well-appointed guest room. Executive Chef, Christian Mikkelsen and his culinary team will continue to prepare gourmet meals, with the freshest local ingredients; served with a smile by Hans, Aaron and the rest of the Kingfisher team. Leticia, at O'Grady's and Chava at the Grotto Bar will make your piping hot espresso or Whispering Pine (if you haven't tried one, it's a must). And, Tram and the Aspen Leaf Spa team will continue to guide you on your relaxation journey. The main difference is that now a portion of your dollars will support our region through Icicle Fund's giving.

We are so thankful to Harriet for her vision to create Sleeping Lady in this special place and her gift, ensuring it will continue to nurture all who visit!
